A UK automotive manufacturer experienced a moulding machine breakdown. To maintain production volume and avoid downtime in productivity with one of their leading customers, an alternative machine and manufacturing line was introduced in another of their facilities located several miles away from their main plant. The components and tooling were then required to be continuously transported between the two sites for several days.
