Priority Freight recognised by Lufthansa Cargo for operational performance and carrier partnership excellence

Published: Monday, 11 May 2026

As global air freight networks continue to operate under increasing pressure from capacity constraints, geopolitical instability and evolving manufacturing demands, the role of strategic carrier partnerships has become increasingly critical to maintaining supply chain continuity.

Against this backdrop, Priority Freight has been recognised by Lufthansa Cargo with the Excellence Award 2025 for #1 in WorldACD Carrier Share, recognising the strength of the collaboration between the two organisations across international air freight operations.

The award reflects operational performance and market activity measured through world air cargo data, reinforcing Priority Freight’s position within increasingly time-sensitive and complex global supply chains.

For manufacturers and high-pressure industries, air freight is no longer simply a premium transport mode reserved for emergencies. As supply chains become leaner, production schedules tighter and sourcing networks more geographically dispersed, resilient air cargo partnerships have become a strategic requirement for maintaining operational continuity.

Priority Freight’s collaboration with Lufthansa Cargo supports a wide range of urgent and high-value freight movements, including automotive, aerospace, defence and industrial manufacturing shipments where visibility, responsiveness and rapid decision-making are essential.

The recognition also reflects the growing importance of operational integration between freight forwarders and carriers. In increasingly volatile market conditions, the ability to secure capacity, respond quickly to disruption and maintain control across international movements depends heavily on trusted relationships and aligned operational standards.

Marco Sauer, Group Air Freight Manager at Priority Freight, said: ‘This recognition reflects the strength of the operational relationship between Priority Freight and Lufthansa Cargo, alongside the commitment shown by teams across both organisations every day.

‘In time-critical logistics, maintaining supply chain certainty requires more than speed alone. It depends on visibility, responsiveness, strong communication and trusted operational partnerships capable of performing consistently under pressure.

‘As supply chains continue to evolve, those relationships become increasingly important in helping customers maintain continuity across complex international operations.’

The award was presented during Lufthansa Cargo’s recent industry awards evening, recognising performance and collaboration across its freight forwarding network.

As global supply chains continue to adapt to ongoing disruption and rising operational complexity, Priority Freight remains focused on strengthening the partnerships, infrastructure and operational control required to support customers across critical sectors worldwide.
