Priority Freight celebrates 30 years of keeping global supply chains moving

Time-critical logistics specialist Priority Freight is celebrating 30 years in business, marking three decades of growth from a single office in Dover to an international operation supporting some of the world’s most demanding supply chains.
Founded in 1996, Priority Freight began by providing urgent road freight solutions for manufacturers requiring a faster and more responsive approach to logistics. Thirty years later, the business employs more than 300 people across its international network and provides time-critical logistics solutions 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
While the scale and complexity of global supply chains have changed considerably over those three decades, the principle at the heart of Priority Freight has remained the same: when a customer faces a critical logistics challenge, every minute matters.
Neal Williams, Founder and CEO of Priority Freight, said: “Thirty years is an important milestone for Priority Freight and a chance to reflect on how far the business has come. From a small team in Dover, we have grown into an international business trusted by customers to support them when the stakes are at their highest.“
The logistics industry has changed enormously since 1996, but customers still need the same fundamental things from us: speed, reliability, expertise and people who will take ownership of a problem and find a solution. That commitment has been central to
Priority Freight from the beginning and continues to shape the business today.”
Over the past three decades, Priority Freight has continually expanded its capabilities and geographical reach in response to the changing needs of its customers. Its specialist teams now coordinate complex road, air and multimodal movements around the world, supported by multilingual logistics experts, an in-house customs team and advanced technology that provides visibility throughout the transport process.
During that time, the company has transported an extraordinary range of time-critical consignments, from urgent automotive components needed to keep production lines moving to human samples for scientific research, lifesaving medical equipment and humanitarian aid, aircraft components, military vehicles, critical data centre equipment and specialist equipment for the film and entertainment industries. Each has required careful planning, rapid decision-making and precise execution.
Today, Priority Freight supports customers across sectors including automotive, aerospace, defence, pharmaceutical and healthcare, energy and technology, helping manufacturers and organisations respond to disruption, protect production and strengthen supply chain resilience.
To mark its 30th anniversary, celebrations have been taking place across Priority Freight’s international offices, bringing Priority People together to recognise the contribution employees have made to the company’s development and success.
The milestone comes as Priority Freight begins its next phase of international growth. In 2026, the company is expanding its presence into North America with the establishment of Priority Freight USA and its first US control centre in Atlanta, Georgia, strengthening the local support available to customers in the region.
Williams continued: “Priority Freight has never stood still. Every stage of our growth has been driven by listening to our customers, anticipating what they will need next and investing in the people, technology and international capability required to support them.
“As we celebrate our first 30 years, our focus is firmly on the future. Supply chains are becoming more interconnected and more complex, and that makes responsiveness and resilience increasingly important. We see significant opportunities ahead and are excited about what the next chapter will bring.”
As Priority Freight enters its fourth decade, it continues to invest in its people, technology and international network, building on 30 years of experience to provide the supply chain certainty customers need in an increasingly unpredictable world.
