Priority Freight appoints Andreas Schwertfeger as Director of Sales for marine logistics

Priority Freight, a leading provider of time-critical logistics solutions, is pleased to announce the appointment of Andreas Schwertfeger as its new Director of Sales heading up Marine Logistics.
With more than 30 years of extensive experience across multiple sectors, including Automotive, Renewables, Cruise and Marine, Schwertfeger will bring expertise in strategic planning, global account management, and operational leadership to Priority Freight’s expanding team.
Schwertfeger joins Priority Freight from Crane Worldwide Logistics, where he led Account Management for the EMEA region. His proven track record of fostering relationships, developing custom solutions, and driving innovation has solidified his reputation as a transformative leader in logistics. Schwertfeger’s focus on customer-centric strategies and operational excellence has consistently led to growth and strengthened market presence for each of his previous organisations.
At Priority Freight, Schwertfeger will oversee sales strategies across Europe for the marine logistics sector and lead initiatives to expand market reach, enhance client relationships, and reinforce the company’s status as a global leader in time-critical logistics. A key component of the new role will also focus on leading initiatives to expand market reach for the automotive industry within Germany.

Schwertfeger’s distinguished career also includes senior roles at DSV – Global Transport and Logistics and Gebr. Schoemaker GmbH & Co. KG. His extensive experience in the Cruise, Marine, and Hospitality industries, paired with his background in supply chain optimisation, will bring new insights and capabilities to Priority Freight’s service offerings.
