Sixth Fastest-Growing Company in Kent
Priority Freight is the sixth fastest-growing company in Kent as announced this week by Kent Business at its MegaGrowth 50 Awards presentation.
The company also came fourth in the ‘Growth in Export Sales’ league table for its sustained growth over the past four years.
Paul Mercer, Priority Freight’s Finance Director commented: “To be considered as a leading business in Kent is a fantastic achievement. The prestigious business league table not only ranks companies by growth in turnover but also in export sales and Priority Freight has worked incredibly hard to increase both. 2014 saw our most successful year to date with a significant trend in turnover (+164%) and sustained growth in export sales (+356%) over the past four years.”
Neal Williams, Group Managing Director, commented: “I am absolutely delighted to have been recognised as the county’s sixth fastest-growing privately-owned businesses. It’s a wonderful achievement for everyone at Priority Freight who has worked so hard to grow this business into a local, and international, success story, and we plan to develop even more over the coming years. In fact, we are in the process of expanding our Head Office to accommodate the additional staff we are currently recruiting for in our logistics teams.”
This year Priority Freight has been nominated for several key awards, including KEiBA for both ‘Large Business of the Year’ and ‘Business Commitment to the Environment’; Global Freight Awards for both ‘Specialist Freight Solutions Provider of the Year’ and ‘Environment Award’; Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport – ‘Operations Excellence’ and now MegaGrowth 50 – ‘Growth in Turnover’ and ‘Growth in Export Sales’.
