Priority Freight supports Automotive Logistics UK Summit 2016, committed to business as usual in the wake of Brexit
Automotive Logistics UK Summit takes place at a crucial time, following Britain’s move to exit the EU. A leading provider of contingency logistics solutions, Priority Freight, sees this event as an opportunity for industry leaders to cement their strategy and view on how to protect and continue to grow the £72-billion sector. Taking place on the 5th and 6th October at Mercedes-Benz World, Priority Freight will be attending the summit with a certain optimism.
Taking the position that a realistic outlook and a strong network of trusted partners around the globe will be the key to maintaining growth during this period of uncertainty, Priority Freight, will be a reassuring voice at the summit.
According to the Group Managing Director, Neal Williams, “A time of political change like this will always bring an element of uncertainty but what we must focus on is the opportunities it also presents. Priority Freight has and will continue to actively work within the EU, delivering first-class logistics solutions.”
While some companies held off on making big changes during the Brexit campaign, Priority Freight, just last month invested in expanding its German office setting up a new dedicated emergency air freight department as well as opened its Spanish office early in the year. It is this sentiment and investment in growth that Williams and his team will bring to the conversation at summit – “It will raise pertinent questions and perspectives from within the industry,” continues Neal Williams.
The summit will welcome senior executives from OEMs and their tier suppliers, government officials, infrastructure financiers and LSPs. They’ll meet to assess logistics and supply chain strategies in the light of Britain’s future exit from the EU.
