Priority Freight celebrate Save the Children’s Christmas Jumper Day in Style
It’s officially the most magical time of the year. There’s a chill in the air, and a steady flow of chocolate circling the office. Christmas songs are playing on a loop, and it’s now deemed socially acceptable to have set up the Christmas trees and draped the place in fairy lights, tinsel and baubles.
That’s right – the countdown to Christmas has started!
But what about those who aren’t so lucky? Save the Children brings essentials like healthcare, education, protection and food to millions of children around the world who are missing out on even the most basic support. To support their vital campaign, they created an annual fundraiser, #ChristmasJumperDay,a specific Friday every year when people are encouraged to make the world better with a sweater. This year’s #ChristmasJumperDay is on 15 December, and all over the country thousands of people will be taking part by donning their silliest, most novel and most exceptional woollies.
While some still declare, ‘I’ll never wear one of those…,’ this will be the second year that we’ve participated in the Save the Children’s #ChristmasJumperDay, donning our festive knitwear and diving head first into the Christmas spirit.
