Priority Freight set to hit the road
Kent-based provider of time-critical logistics solutions is set to attend numerous events around the globe to share knowledge with industry experts
Priority Freight, a strategic partner in premium logistics for the global automotive, is set to attend two upcoming global logistics events; the Automotive Logistics Europe conference and the Automotive Leaders’ Summit. This follows from the company’s nomination in the Supply Chain Resilience category at the Automotive Logistics Europe awards.
Stuart Stobie, Group Sales and Marketing Director at Priority Freight, commented, “These events are always worth attending. It gives everyone the opportunity within the industry to talk to one another, share knowledge, exchange ideas and look at how we can improve the industry as a whole. We don’t always have to be competitors, we can help each other.”
Automotive Logistics Europe
Taking place on 13-14th June in Bonn, Germany, the Automotive Logistics Europe conference’s main focus is looking at the transformative technology that is impacting the industry.
At the very top of the discussion will be hot topics such as Logistics 4.0 and The Internet of Things along with the often-debated supply chain transparency.
Priority Freight and fellow attendees will:
- Develop a clear understanding of what the future holds for the European logistics sector
- Discuss how logistics systems can improve for greater efficiency
- Explore what technology is having the biggest impact on supply chains and the sector as a whole, as well as how to implement them
Following last year’s success, Priority Freight is returning to the event as a gold sponsor. Mr Stobie continued, “Technology always has a major impact on the industry, and it is so important that you stay on top of it. Failure to do so could see you falling far behind competitors. We are continually developing our own in-house technology and our real-time updates are invaluable to our clients.”
Automotive Leaders’ Summit
Priority Freight is also an event sponsor at the Automotive Leaders’ Summit – Global 2018, taking place at the International Business Festival 2018 in Liverpool on 20-21st June. Thought leaders across the logistics and suppliers sector are set to discuss the challenges facing supply chains, as well as the innovative solutions that are being used across the global automotive market. Again technology, in particular Industry 4.0, is set to take centre stage.
Speakers at the event include spokespeople from BMW, Siemens and DHL Supply Chain, showcasing the diversity of organisations that span the logistics sector. Mr Stobie, when discussing Priority Freight’s attendance said, “Both the automotive conferences are about gaining new insights, to develop problem solving abilities from different angles. It’s not just the logistics industry that we can draw upon but also those who operate within it. We’re anticipating some good conversations and looking forward to hearing what everyone has to say.”
