Company background
Founded in 1996 by a Kent family, Priority Freight has grown to become a leading international provider of time-critical logistics solutions, with a proven track record in the global automotive, aerospace and pharmaceutical industries. The company has been recognised by many awards for its outstanding performance in its financial turnover, exports sales growth and rising staff numbers.
The company’s first shipment was by road to deliver supplies from Dover Docks to Orly airport, Paris, where they were urgently required for a global airline’s inflight services. By 2014, Priority Freight first chartered the world’s largest aircraft, the Antonov An-225, to transport 150 tonnes of car production equipment; and it completed over 100,000 shipments globally.
Boasting experienced multilingual staff, the company now has nine strategically-located control centres across Europe and employs over 200 staff.
